Does anyone have a clue about the flooding in Boothville? I'm offshore and the guys out here are real worried about their vehicles parked at PHI. I've only seen pics of Grand Isle, and it doesn't look good for those guys at all.

They're flat out fricked. Simple as that. Boothville and that are was getting fricked over earlier and it's only getting worse for them.

ETA: Didn't mean to sound like an arse. Y'all stay safe.

I was at PHI about a week ago.

Sorry bud...your trucks are soggy if they're still there.

Who you work for?

Just heard from nungesser there is a giant surge up the river and the levee is about 2' from being topped. Though he said it isn't expected to get any worse.

Twitter: @twc_hurricane DOW radars on 16ft levees near Port Sulphur report water is 2ft from top of levees - that's a 14ft storm surge. #isaac

I just wish we could have gotten all of the vehicles moved out in time. Hopefully it stays dry.

The water in the curve before Chevron's Venice base is up to about half way up a full size truck's side window.

I'm on the Bully 1. The Driller is in Garden Banks right now.

They trucked out all but 35 vehicles from our rig. Trucks were scarce and they closed Hwy 23 before we could get them all.
