His legacy would have been great just for his art before he died.. had he lived longer, he probably would have gone thru phases ala Miles Davis, continuously exploring. May have led to some high points and not so great stuff. He was already starting to explore jazzed out arrangements and instrumental stuff before he died. It would have been interesting, that's for sure!
