I am looking to complete a set of championship programs and ticket stubs, and the item that I am missing is the ticket from the 59 Sugar Bowl. Please let me know if you or someone you know has one they are willing to sell.
Thanks,
Thanks,

I know it will be a tough one to find. I'm trying many avenues, and I figured TD may be worth a shot.

Good luck. Last one on eBay sold for $1700

I've done a completed listing search on ebay yesterday, and it shown that the last few sold between 150 - 400. When did you see one go for 1700?

I doubt anybody would sell one for less than 1k...There were possibly 60- 80k of those tickets made (IDK just guessing), and the vast majority were used. I know if I had one, I'd ask 2k..

I just purchased a 47 cotton bowl program and ticket for a bit less than 1k. These are the rarest of the bowl programs and the tickets are even more rare. The Sugar bowl 59 ticket is more common, and I will find one for 150 or less. I just need a little more patience and keep watching ebay.

set a reminder on ebay with the keyword 59 sugarbowl. It will alert you when one pops up. They are rare. You should be able to find one for the price you stated. I found mine for about that 2 years ago. They are very rare but those and that program pop up from time to time. Just have to watch it like a hawk

Thanks for that tip. I will definitely set a reminder.

Good deal on the program and ticket! I'm a small collector, so not much experince in the market. Good luck!

I have most of the programs for that year. Not ready to let any go yet.

I have about 1/2 of the tickets to the 1934-35 season.
Not sure what their record was back then.

Are you interested in selling them?

I think I will hang onto them a little longer. My great-uncle's tickets - to the student section. It has his photo (I think) and he went to maybe half the games. I'll try to scan sometime to show you what they look like.

Please email some pics to me if you get a chance. I would really like to see them.

Wrong!!!
They go usually $75-$150.
The last one went for $400, but that was a dumb buyer hitting the Buy It Now, not an auction.
I've picked up two in the same auction for less than $150 one time (less than 3 years ago)
Sold them to members of the collectors forum for what I paid for them.
