I'm watching the Mask on ABC Family..

flipping back and forth between a few things and am watching this for a while. I loved this movie when I was younger and felt like giving it a rewatch on a lazy Sunday.
One thing stuck out to me though. On one night, the Mask goes to the club and things are getting wild, then the crime mob/bad guys shut it down. they tell all the citizens who paid to get in there to get the hell out while pointing guns at everyone. After the mass hysteria dies down, these guys open fire on the mask and attempt to kill him. Shortly after, the police show up in full force to settle the standoff.
So with all that said...the very NEXT NIGHT everyone is all excited about their tickets to the hottest event of the year at club coco bongo
Doesn't it seem like if all that happened only 24 hours ago, people would kinda chill out on going there for a while?
And yeah yeah, I know it's only a movie. I'm not nitpicking and saying the movie sucks because of that, just a little humorous observation.

yeah she was fine. I also didn't realize when I was younger how much adult, sexual humor was in this movie. During the balloon animal scene he pulls a used condom out of his pocket And when the Mask is playing a Frenchman with cameron diaz up on that hill there's all sorts of sexual references. He says he wants to dip his ladle in her something, I don't remember. Then he says he's a rose and feeling "thorny" ha. Then says like Napoleon, he's about to divide and conquer.
I guess all the sexual innuendo went over my head all those years ago

Great movie.
My only feelings on the Coco Bongo - I guess they are just used to shoot outs and such, considering Dorian and his boss run the joint.
