So much better than the original!

Other than rock star and spinal tap, recommend some music themed movies for me.

Thanks in advance

~40 minutes of extra footage (it becomes a nearly 3 hour movie). Extra scenes include a hilarious scene with Kyle from Tenacious D as a radio DJ that smokes a joint while interviewing Stillwater on air and passes out in the middle of it.

Dazed and Confused, for 70's classic rock.

Reign Over Me...a "serious" Adam Sandler movie where the music is an important part of the movie. I downloaded the soundtrack as soon as I saw the movie.

Almost Famous is one of those movies that I love so much and watch over and over again, but I can't really tell you why, which, to me, is the mark of a truly great movie.

His other film...Singles.

It's grunge Seattle scene so might feel dated/weird...but definitely music themed a really good comedy.
