These have lasted longer than any pair of headphones I've ever owned and the sound quality is excellent. Was definitely worth the $180 price tag but I'll be looking for an upgrade soon.

That looks like a sweet sub. How does the bass sound?

wonderful!
I actually went to audio store (Wilson Audio in Metairie) to buy new speakers. I was interested in a used pair of B&W 803's. Sounded great!
We talked about the equipment I already had and he suggested that I all I would need/want would be a quality sub. I was impressed that he talked me into spending considerably less than I had intended.
It took a while to get the placement and crossover properly set, but once I got it right.....wow!
Fills in nicely where my main speakers drop off. It's not boomy at all, but smoothy and accurately reproduces the lower frequencies.

That picture is one I found online. Mine are just like those, but the stands are different.
Mine are from 1987 I believe. I bought them from a friend in 1995 when he bought some new speakers.
took a picture will grills off...

my wife scored a brand new pair of beats by dre last time she went to beau rivage. somebody left them on the floor by the bed skirt. she wanted to bring them to the front desk but all the women with her talked her into keeping them.

Audio-Technica M-50. It's a superb -- albeit lower end "nice" headphone.
