I was rereading Arya's chapter in Crows, where the kindly old man tells her the history on the faceless Men. They started in the slave mines of Valyria, and they soon brought the gift to the masters. It sounds like they might have been part of the Doom or at least something against the masters of Valyria. Do you think they might try to go after Danny because her connections to Valyria.

I dunno. But that history does kind of fit into my half baked theory (really not even developed enough to be called a theory) that a lot of the major characters we consider "good guys" have an anti-slavery theme in common:
Danny - liberator of slaves
Starks - at least two anti-slavery episodes: one way back in the Wolf's lair (or is it Wolf's Den) in I think White Harbor. The second, Eddard's exiling of Jorah.
Red Priests (ok, so they might be "good guys" per se) - the crowds listening to their high priest were mostly slaves and he was preaching a pro-Danny message.
Now even Tyrion has tasted and lived in slavery.
And as you say, the Faceless men started out trying to minister (if their own way) to slaves in despair.
I can't remember if Varys was a slave at one point but if so, that's another pretty major character who is at least ambiguous.
