I tend to believe that Marsh and Co stabbed Jon more because he let the wildlings through the Wall than the way he reacted to Ramsay's letter. They saw Jon letting them enter the realm as going against everything The Watch stood for, so in their minds they had to do something to preserve the order of things. Also I hate that fat frick Bowen.

It did seem that Jon's actions with the wildlings were building up a ton of anger and resentment in them. But Marsh actually helped with collecting the treasure from the wildlings and getting them through the wall. Maybe it was just the timing but it seemed to me that his decision to go face Ramsay (and in particular his asking for volunteers from both the NW and the windings) was the straw that broke the camels back. But I could see it end up that it was something pre-planned from his earlier decisions.

I was rereading Arya's chapter in Crows, where the kindly old man tells her the history on the faceless Men. They started in the slave mines of Valyria, and they soon brought the gift to the masters. It sounds like they might have been part of the Doom or at least something against the masters of Valyria. Do you think they might try to go after Danny because her connections to Valyria.
