I've been half randomly clicking link to link through Wiki SOI&F site and found two interesting things which I thought I'd throw out here:
When Yoren stopped at Winterfell on his way from the Wall (Tyrion was accompanying him I think) to King's Landing, he told them about Benjen being missing. Bran was apparently very adamant that Benjen was not dead. I know this was before Bran had really developed his dreams and greenseer abilities but I think it may be one more piece of evidence to consider in our ongoing Benjen discussions.
The attack by Lannister forces on Yoren and the Night's Watch recruits seems to have been a huge breach of the laws that no one mess with them. Of course one could say that Yoren was getting involved with non Night's Watch matters by protecting Gendry (and Arya to an extent though I don't think the attackers were looking for her). I wonder if knowledge of that ever got out and got back to the Night's Watch. Seems like that would have some impact on how they view Lannister sympathizers. It almost seems like they could attack Lannister friendly types with a justification that it was revenge for that massacre.
Also, I wonder if killing a Night's Watch member and recruits could be seen as being on a level with things like Kingslaying and Kinslaying? It doesn't look like it.
