I can buy that. But how the hell does that information get relayed to Jon or anyone else of importance when it comes to that story (Dany, Aegon, etc)?

Well Bran seems to have some talent for talking through the trees.
Maybe Meera and Hodor (JoJen will never survive the trip back if hes even still alive now) make the journey back south.
Who knows
I just feel like something major has to be revealed through bran's ability to look through the weirwoods.

This is an infant theory that I haven't fleshed out yet. Pretty Merris of the Windblown resembles Brienne way too much. Unless it is a red herring, think about it. They are both Westerosi, over six feet, blond, muscled, and have large cheek scars on both sides. It is probably nothing but it is nagging at me.
