Definitely think Tyrion killing Shae and Tywin will be shocking to the Hodors, especially since show Shae is so whitewashed. Oh and Ygritte dying .
Shae's death is really going to be the surprise. The show has really focused on their relationship.
When I started reading the books, I made the mistake of searching the internet and immediately stumbled upon how Tyrion kills Tywin (I was pissed). I stopped GOT internet reading until I finished the series after that. While I was very disappointed that I couldn't be surprised by Tywin's death, Shae's really surprised me.

Agreed.
First of all, that "hands of gold" line is awesome.
2nd, his physical overpowering is important metaphorically for the breaking of Tyrion's character and shattering society's perceived limitations of his physcality.
Also, I can hear it now,
Hodors: "How is the Hound fighting Oberyn, but also on the countryside with Arya?"
Book readers: "This is the 3rd (4th?) Gregor Clegane! Ugh! Why can't they cast just one person for the role!?
Additionally, so psyched for the Jamie/Bronn exchanges. My ideal situation for one liners would be the complete fantasy scenario where Tyrion, Jon Snow, Jamie, Reek, Bronn, and Stannis get to have some sort of negotiation.

From this point on in the show, I'm anxious to see if the show can accomplish what the books did for me: Taking characters that you disliked or even hated and make you sympathize with them/their struggles. I had this with Jaime and to a degree with Cersei.
I doubt the show can, but we'll see.

i think they have emphasized tyrion in chains in all the promos too much this season. why not leave some mystery? everyone pretty much knows Joff's days are number and then you get all these previews of an imprisoned imp. I dont think Joffreys death will be a surprise at all to the hodors

I devilishly want Jason Mamoa to magically reappear as Gregor Clegane. Talk about an epic mindfrick on the hodors...
Hodors: "Hey that guy looks familiar -.- OMGZ!!!!! Dany is in Westros o-O!!!!!! The book readers look so stupid now!"
Book readers: "Dan. Dave. frick you. frick both of you. I quit."... 5 minutes later, online, "this absolutely means that X house of the undying prophecy, in other words Dany is going sleep with zombie Daario!"

I recall Momoa and D&D stating that they're going to think of another way to bring Momoa back, and a lot of fans think it'll be as Robert Strong.

. I think the Hodors probably believe Dany will be in Westeros since the beginning of Trailer #1 has the dragon shadow over the Red Keep. D&D, trolling the Hodors hard.

I just want Daario dead. I'll make Victarion my favorite character and take back all of the shite that I've complained about the Ironborn for if he can successfully kill that douchebag.

Dontcha know? Daario's multicolored mustache is indestructible.

when does everyone think this season is going to end? Will it make it to Lysa flying out of the Eyrie? It definitely goes past Tyrion escaping right?
Posted on 3/26/14 at 1:42 pm to Analyze That
I have no idea how they're going to pull that off in the show unless D&D have Faegon and JonCon dye their hair brown instead of blue.
Also, here's Daario#2

Um, no. He is NOT WORTHY to be compared to Jaime, Jon, and Robb's sexiness.
