So I'm reading the Hedge Knight right now. Some knight says that when dragons are alive, winters are shorter. So with Dany's dragons around is this gonna be a short winter?
Maybe that was the case for those winters, but in the case of ASOIAF this would be the winter that lasts forever if the Others succeed. Am I wrong here?
It's crazy to think that "Winter" has been "Coming" for decades now in our world, hurry up GRRM.

Well, FWIW, Winter officially arrived in the last book.

If GRRM is actually finishing the series in 2 books, then TWOW is going to be like the last 1/2 of ASOS. Every chapter will have major shite going down. The Wall will go down as well which is going to be huge.
And it's already winter .

I pretty much agree with your assessment, except that maybe the Purple Wedding happens in episode 3? I think that's the episode GRRM is writing but I guess they haven't released which specific episode number it will be.
Also, in the Purple Wedding episode, do you think they'll have Dontos take her out of the wedding in the same episode/show Littlefinger on the ship, kill Dontos, and explain to Sansa how he and Olenna planned it out?
Then maybe episode 5 they'd show Petyr and Sansa traveling on the ship still and then reach the Fingers in episode 6 and the Eyrie in episode 7.
I could picture the last few minutes of episode 10 ending with the Moon Door and showing Lady Stoneheart killing Freys as the cliffhanger.
Now that I think about it, Season 4 will have some of the best quality episodes in the whole series. Every episode is going to be crazy .

Yep. It's the perfect ending to the episode with Littlefinger giving the title shout. I just think they'll arrest Tyrion, Cersei will ask where his bitch wife is, and then they'll cut down to the shore of the Red Keep, where Dontos has guided her to a small boat. They then go across the bay, with Littlefinger revealing himself, kills Dontos, and then asks Littlefinger why he killed Dontos. Littlefinger will tell her that he set all this up with the wedding, and that he did it for the sake of the Game of Thrones. He'll explain the details in the next episode onboard his boat.

pretty sure PW is ep 2. george is writing it.
it better end with lf saying "the only game, the game of thrones"

PW episode needs to end with that line, and one of the last lines in the finale should be "Only Cat!!" Otherwise I will extremely pissed off because that's one of the best/most memorable lines in the series.

I don't see why people think it's safe to assume this. Sure he wrote Blackwater, but the other 2 episodes he wrote didn't have particularly large events happen in them.

Episode 7 last season wasn't that good and George wrote it. The bear pit scene wasn't as good as the books and Jaime's dream was omitted .

Because there are way too many things that have to happen AFTER the PW. Episode 4 would be too late. Episode 2, 3 at the latest.

I'm going with Episode 3. I think 4 is too late.

Ehh, only Tyrion, Sansa, and Brienne are directly immediately affected by it. You could juggle some things forward, specifically with Jaime, and make them before the Purple Wedding.
Plus you need for Tyrion to bond with Tywin over what went on with the Red Viper, and Tyrion and the Red Viper to bond a bit before it. I think there's really no way the Purple Wedding happens in Episode 2, although its possible for 3 (although I think they'll kill Ygrette there instead).

The Ygritte scene is going to make me shed a few tears, no doubts about it.
I want to see Jon with Val in the next book . He deserves another strong wildling woman!!

Speaking of dragons and winter, If the others could somehow kill a dragon, could they create some kind of wight dragon? They've been able to create other wight animals. I guess it could work if the dead dragon wasn't able to breathe fire.

A wight dragon would be badass. There's some theories about stone dragons in/under the Wall and living underneath the crypts in Winterfell and in Dragonstone.
