if he is indeed let back, what if simon and reid want to return for their SR yr to play w/ him?

More power to the kid if he can turn things around. But I'd give him a Zero tolerance contract.
This would be the toughest path for him but it would show an incredible amount of character. Maybe even his path to redemption with the school and the NFL.

My post has nothing to do with what I think is enough or not enough punishment. I'm saying I doubt LSU gets negatively recruited against because they dont let TM back after he busts 3 drug tests. THREE.
To say other coaches will claim LSU doesn' care for it's players becase they arent allowed a FOURTH chance is ridiculous. LSU did everything it could to get TM7 back on track.
I just cant see Saban, Muchsamp et al going into a living room and telling mom, "say girl, if jimmy busts 4 drug tests, he gonna be aight with us, if he goes to LSU, that asshat Miles will kick him off the team after only 3 busted tests, he doesn't care for the kids like we do"
