how do you think pierre beat out a third round pick?
he beat out another rookie, not a veteran. And our RB depth wasn't nearly as strong as it is now.
The way to prove that you are a bonafide NFL'er is to tear up 2nd and 3rd string players. Pierre THomas did that. Ivory did that in stretches.
Cadet has not shown that yet. He had a few nice plays in the passing game, but has been nonexistant in the run game. Could that change? Sure, we have a bunch of preseason action yet. But in order to supplant a young, proven veteran like Ivory, he needs to do more. Chris Ivory is not Antonio Pittman.

You're a dumbass if you dont think a player can beat out another from camp/ preseason performance.
You're a dumbass for thinking i said a player cant beat out another player based on preseason performance. AS i mentioned before, it's clear your IQ is fairly low. Reading comprehension lacking.
Cadet can beat out Ivory, but he needs to do better than 1.5 YPC, & fumbling the ball like he did last game. He needs to do better than a long run of just 7 yards.
