And a good coach instills discipline in his team, especially when he is already on notice that one of his stars has a penchant for this type of behaviour.

This is what you call embarassingly selfish attitude exemplified. This guy dont care for the team, he cares only that the team wins at any cost. How dare does Miles deprive this guy from feeling that gratification.
