nfl sunday ticket on ps3 this year?

I remember people talking about it last year but I just went onto the PSN and didn't see it in media/apps category is it just not available yet?

I've been waiting for this to be available for a while. I called them about it and they said they haven't released it yet (and technically didn't say they were going to, but it's assumed they will). If you google it and see when they announced it last year, it became available in about mid-August. There's also rumors that it might drop in price quite a bit too. Regular NFL Sunday Ticket for DirecTV dropped to $199.

good deal. I can get DTV this year so I'd love to get it on ps3. If it's anything close to the quality of mlb.tv I'd be in heaven.

I called DTV and got a free upgrade to the Max package. Also, I got them down to $150.

I got an email a month or so ago from Playstation network and it basically stated that the cost was 149.99. I was considering making that purchase.

bump for updates? Is it confirmed that PS3 has this as an option?
Has anybody ever heard anything about somebody like me who doesn't have DirecTV being able to "buy" access from somebody who does - through message boards, etc?
Both of my friends who subscribe to Sunday Ticket need and use their internet option so I would have to find somebody on TD willing to sell or somebody on another web site I guess...

Just called. They said they couldn't discount my Sunday Ticket but gave me $15 off my bill for 12 months. $180 savings.

I'd consider getting it. Of course if it's like the SEC app or the most recent YouTube app at will it even work?

This is available for purchase on Sep 1, 2012 through your PS3 at the PlayStation Network Store. This offer is for $299.95 from Sep 1 to Oct 28, 2012. PS3 follows the same game availability rules as NFL Sunday Ticket with one exception: Game availability is based on the device location instead of the DIRECTV service address.
You should have the following:
1. Sony PlayStation 3
2. Broadband Internet connection: Over 700 kbps download speed from your provider gives the best possible picture quality for NFL Sunday Ticket games.

I have 360, not PS3 so I'm not going to go buy a PS3 until I can get verification.

Mates, I just went and bought a new PS3 simply to get the NFL Sunday Ticket package for my 145" screen/projection TV setup. I am miffed b/c the Playstation Store still does not have this app available for purchase.

Just bumping to inform those who might be curious that it is available. I bought the PS3, downloaded the app, and paid the $299.95 so hopefully it will be glitch free tomorrow.
Turns out the Saints/Redskins ARE on Fox up here so I really didn't need it until next week, but whatevs. Will be nice to watch the quicktake replays throughout the week.
