FWIW, this does indeed seem like a significant enough situation that should have come before the BOT before a final "agreement" was made...

That said, there's no use for the BOT crying over it now.... what are they hoping to accomplish here? By appealing, they'll probably end up getting the death penalty and be worse off.

I can understand the BOT being upset with the President, but I don't really understand why they would try to appeal this and risk worse punishment and/or more media attention.

It sure is. It's going to be tough for Penn State to move forward when so many of them are dwelling in the past.

They also seem to think that Bob O'Buttchin is going to lift them to the promised land immediately. There's a lot of disillusion in Happy Valley right now.
