Seahawks agreed to terms with WR Terrell Owens on a one-year contract.
Oh boy. Owens' recovery from a torn ACL and hard-earned reputation as a locker-room cancer conspired to keep him out of the league in 2011, but the receiver-needy Seahawks decided to take the plunge after the mercurial 15-year veteran reportedly ran a sub-4.5 forty-yard dash in his Monday tryout.

I hope they give him a chance. I always liked TO because he always played hard.

i want to see TO cry for Matt Flynn

No guaranteed money so he has to be on his best behavior on a week-to-week basis.

He was unarguably a top 10 WR in 2010 before he got hurt...I have no clue why this guy doesn't have a job?? No question he can still ball

yeah and he was a good boy last with cincy right?
he's still 38 and hes been injured.. hopefully he's finally healed.. i like to see him back.

Cowherd crapped all over it this morning and called it pathetic.
You don't have to like the guy, but he has never not produced even at advanced age. The try out is absolutely justified, and if he can make the team, why not?
I fail to see how this is a bad thing.

Teams are tired of his prima donna routine. He's desperate for money and if the deal is structured right, he's almost guaranteed to stfu and just play ball.

is it me or the seahawks always bringing in the old bums

I think it's a good move bc the Seahawks have all the leverage and really nothing to lose. I don't know of any other old guys they've brought in.

Well they brought in Jerry Rice at the end of his career. I don't think he ever played though?

T.O. Is legit...he will put up good numbers

I don't remember this in BUF or CIN. Put up good numbers there I believe. I like it.

Rumors that TO ran a sub 4.4 recently.
He has his quirks and issues, but the guy is one of the Top 15 WRs when healthy now, even at 38.

Seriously?
TO would be the #1 WR on several NFL teams right now.

As a fan, it's definitely not.
I hope he makes the team.
Regardless, I think the Seahawks will be an intriguing team to watch this year.
Really looking forward to that Monday night game against Green Bay in Week 3.
