Drew Brees MVP this season?

Let's assume he has another season similar to his recent prolific ones. Can he win the MVP this season or will he be cheated out of it again?

It's all subjective.
Rodgers is probably a slightly better QB.
But, if the Packers don't produce this year, while the Saints kick absolute arse in the absence of a head coach, I think there's a fantastic chance of Brees winning the MVP.

People are on Rogers' nuts. Unless Rogers has a horrible season, they will give it to him.
Rogers could've torn his ACL in week one and they would've found a way to crown him.
And before anyone says anything, I'm not downing Rogers. He's good. But Drew, he's not.

Rodgers has better physical tools. If he has a season close to Brees, he'll get it. Same goes for Brady or Manning.
I realized that Brees would never win the MVP after the 09 season.
Brees would have to totally obliterate everybody to even come close to winning it, and even then people would say "Well he has a lot of weapons and blah blah blah..."

Brees wasnt cheated out of anything. Brees had a great season but the media isnt going to give the MVP to someone they never cover. Rodgers is popular because he plays for GB and came after a great QB. Rodgers earned the MVP last year and yes Brees should have gotten it, but I wouldnt say he was cheated out of it.

This should not be underestimated. That same media that isn't giving Brees or the Saints a chance this season will be the same media that will have to change their tune if the Saints & Brees have the type of season they are capable of having. Some in the media have knocked Brees for being a so called "system QB" & for playing under the best play caller in the game. If Brees continues to put big numsbers with the team winning as well in Payton's absence, then the media will have no choice but to recognize & have Brees as one of the front runners for MVP.

He had to toss at least 60 tds, less than 10 ints, and 6,000 yards and in all honesty that probably won't be enough.
