Amazing Rushing - W/L Stat under Miles

LSU is 43-0 when rushing for over 100 yards and holding its opponent under 100 yards rushing. For all those who thinks we're going to all of a sudden become an air raid team, this stat tells it all. That's the formula for success right there.

We have a great W/L record when scoring more points than the opponent.

That's just because we've been primarily a rushing team under Miles and have had better players than most of our opponents.

there are few great QBs.
there are plenty of guys willing to carry the rock, and hit the hole.

Establish the run to set up the play action, then hurl it deep. Mettenberger has a great deep-passing arm, I wouldn't be surprised if we see a lot of it.

We don't need to be an air it out team. We just need consistency when we do want/need to throw it. I love our running game

Yeah sure. This formula has served LSU so well that we have a grand total of 1 NC since Miles took over when we could have had 2, if not 3. You need a QB who can throw to win, period. Or else you will run into Bama/ Saban again and what the frick are they going to then? Keep running into a brick wall? God, this smash mouth football is too overrated sometimes.

i haven't seen anyone on here say we're going to a Houston offense. but if you don't think we're going to pass it more than you're going to be pleasantly surprised.
