I loved Heath as the Joker and his acting was far superior to Liam Neeson as Ra's.
Having said that I cant choose either because I love both for different reasons. Neeson is one of my fave actors and he gave a solid preformance and is my favorite villain of the franchise.
I liked Bale in this above TDK too

The Rachel character in the first two movies was a husk. Hathaway had so much more to work with in DKR (and knocked it out of the park).
Ledger elevated the franchise (and superhero movies in general) with his performance. Begins is a prelude to Ledger, DKR is the epilogue.
