Damn, I'm busy today. The 90s is one of my favorite eras in country...

Rhett Akins - That Ain't My Truck
Doug Supernaw - Reno

Remember when these guys were good...
Toby Keith - Who's That Man
Trace Adkins - Every Light in the House

...I'll revisit this thread after while.

Reno and Who's That Man seemed to get a lot of playtime around the same time.

Rick Trevino had one solid jam back then.

Clay Walker is a total creep. His personality has turned me off his music forever.

You wanna go real classic
You gotta go with outlaw country from the 1970's, e.g., Waylon, David Allen Coe, etc. modern equivalent would be Jamey Johnson. Good Thread.

The 90s were one of the bet eras in country. From Tracy Lawrence to Rhett Akins. The bands were also awesome. Shenandoah, blackhawk, restless heart, little texas just to name a few

No, I got tired of outlaw country years ago. They just weren't good at the love songs.

Big Lawrence fan.

Alibis, Lonely, Today's Lonely Fool, Sticks and Stones, Somebody Paints The Wall

Rhett Akins really brings back memories because I worked in the back of a warehouse one summer when his songs got airtime on the local country stations we used to listen to all day every day.

What about Alan Jackson? Big hits. Someday.....Tonight I Climbed The Wall...Midnight In Montgomery.

My vote for best modern country musician. Great songwriter, musician, and singer.
