Tried to think of a sports precedent for this and, at least that I know of there's not one. Munich, Marshall? Horrible but not the same.

I don't in any way want innocents (though that's already occurred) to suffer, but how do you even approach this sh#t?

BoT,in my humble needs to find a way to get out in front so this once great, but retrospectively really f#%ked up program can get a clean start.

I'm not sure how to do that without shutting it down for a short time. I get the logistics and such but just wtf do you do considering that this could STILL get worse as people that want to save their a$$es start talking?

I dont have issues with Costas but that said, I dont necessarily agree on the DP.

Punishing PSU is fine but not necessarily the DP or even shutting it down, which some people have brought up.

I am as angry as anyone about what happened at PSU and I wish the worst for them and their program. I wish Paterno was alive today just so that he could me made to pay for his crimes. Yes, these aren't sins, these are crimes.

Having said that, I still don't see how the NCAA can give them the death penalty because technically, they did not violate any NCAA rules.

The CFB world will implicitly give them a death penalty. Their recruiting will suffer and their program will be paralyzed soon enough. This will happen.

Costas knows what he's doing. Leave criminal proceedings to the judicial system please.
