FWIW, I am not defending JoPa at all. I believe he is second or third in line. I never thought the first paragraph applied to JoPa, so there is nothing for me to resolve. But I am interested in how others resolve the dissonance in these two seemingly conflicting notions.
I don't think he was a real head coach, but it certainly seems like he knew what was going on.
