bullshite on what?? You think Broussard made that up?
Apparently folks here think Broussard would intentionally make up quotes from Gordon and potentially lose his job for it.

We're fuuuuuuucked if Gordon doesn't want to be here because its the Chris Paul situation all over again.

Demps and Monty have until July 14th to change his mind.

Chris Broussard ?@Chris_Broussard
Eric Gordon told me this: "I strongly feel (the Suns) are the right franchise for me. Phoenix is just where my heart is.''

I can't see him playing for 5 million next year on a one year deal. And what does Phoenix have to trade to us? He'll be a Hornet.

Could've also been taken out of context. Maybe he had multiple offers from other teams and he thought Phoenix was the best spot of all other teams.

statement given to ESPN and Arizona Republic

"After visiting the Suns, the impression the organization made on me was incredible. Mr. (Robert) Sarver, Lon Babby, Lance Blanks, the front office staff and Coach (Alvin) Gentry run a first-class organization, and I strongly feel they are the right franchise for me. Phoenix is just where my heart is now."

Is New Orleans THAT bad? I know living in Phoenix would be sweet but damn the situation on the court here looks much much brighter...obviously..

BUT...Gordon going hard with public comments that he'd rather be in Phoenix than NO, says in a statement given to ESPN and Arizona Republic, "After visiting the Suns, the impression the organization made on me was incredible. Mr. (Robert) Sarver, Lon Babby, Lance Blanks, the front office staff and Coach (Alvin) Gentry run a first-class organization, and I strongly feel they are the right franchise for me. His heart is in Phoenix? They have Gortat and very little else. I've been very pro Gordon, but if he really said that, I would deal him for Gortat and an unprotected 2013 first. He'd basically be by himself, so that would be a pretty nice pick. Gortat is a pretty damn good center on a great contract.

But I don't believe that he said that. Broussard really does seem like a pure shite stirrer.

ETA: nevermind, just seeing he said it to their paper. frick him, seriously.

What in the frick does Phoenix have that we don't? We just got the fricking Brow and another top 10 pick and almost unlimited cap space to bring in other great pieces. Phoenix is losing the face of its franchise, and their best players are Marcin Gortat and old arse Grant Hill. What the frick!

I agree.

Problem is, you'd be giving a pissed off guy who doesnt't want to be here, a max contract.
