That was no penalty (I assume you are referencing when Tomkins got a bit of ball) and take you 1 point at home and enjoy it. West Ham played a solid match and got the result they wanted. They had a few good chances to nick 3 from you guys and just couldn't finish.

same could be said on our end...

I thought the attack looked a lot sharper with Coutinho in the middle... wouldnt mind seeing him get a few more looks there this season

That was a stonewall penalty. He floored Gerrard and got a little bit of the ball following through. Coutinho wasn't offside on his first offside call when he'd have been one on one and probably scored. Sturridge was not offside for his goal, Tomkins was playing him onside. All of that said, we did not use the ball well enough and were plain wasteful.

And if by a solid match you mean Collins got lucky Suarez had an off day, you are right.
