Here's a quick read on Eriksen's reluctance to sign a new contract at Ajax...

Denmark international Eriksen, who turns 21 this month, has long been linked with a move to the Premier League, and sporten.dk reports that many top European clubs have expressed an interest. Liverpool would appear to be leading the race and are said to be readying a bid for the summer.

Just no way.
I'm keeping the faith
Sounding like Sturridge may not play... Rather him sit than risk further injury.
Will we see Cou at some point today?

I don't think it's a big secret that he is one of BR's main targets for the summer (I dont think the addition of Coutinho changes that)... Whether we will get him or not, is another story...
We do have Agger, Suarez, BR's footballing philosophy in the pro column and if we finish strong... you never know..
But, the more pressing matter is to get three points today... Perfect way to spend this miserable Lundi Gras...

Man I would really love to bring in Him, Ince, possibly another striker, a CB & LB this summer window.
Haha you cajuns just like soccer give me reasons to drink in the wee hours of the mornings
ETA: What Time Is Our Match Today? Where Can I Watch It At Work?

It's at 2 pm. You can always try firstrowsports
I always use that when I'm at my student job/class I haven't checked espn3 either so it could be on there as well

I think it's being shown on espn2, so espn3 or 'watch Espn' will definitely have it

Also hearing the starting line up is status quo, with the exception of Shelvey on for Sturridge...
I'd imagine that would push Suarez back up top...

what formation have do yall typically run?
Posted on 2/11/13 at 12:01 pm to Tweezy
early on 4-3-3 with Suarez as the false 9
With Sturridge, BR has experimented a good bit...
The most success was as a 4-2-3-1ish with Suarez in the hole and Henderson as the right mid, but tucked in quite a bit..
I think the formation is fluid, but we work best with 3 forwards/wingers and 3 CMs... He just wants Sturridge up top and Suarez has the ability to roam wherever... I didnt like when Suarez was played as a RW and had that much defensive responsibility... took him out of the game offensively...

Suarez is arguably most effective on the wing. He has so much space to exploit, which is his game. It's just that match against Arsenal where we played defensively.

Also, nice to see Martin Kelly sign a new contract with the club... it's good seeing all these young academy players committed... Somethings gotta give though... Wisdom or Kelly, I would think, is going to move to CB... I think thats the long term position for both...

I dont disagree to an extent, because he does a lot of his damage playing in the channels... even his time at Ajax though, he never played as a true winger... I still want him to have his freedom to roam...

I honestly don't care how we play as long as Suarez is only in one box and not in both... and that we get the 3 points.

This match can't come soon enough

Agreed - he should always have a free role. Labeling him with a position is just a formality, really.
