still hurting with an emotional hangover. my supreme powers of apathy and deflecting sincerity with irony are failing me now. I... I'm not sure what to do anymore

Still, remember how badly it hurt when LSU lost when it really mattered and then a few days later the Saints lost the the 49ers in the playoffs? and not to mention Arsenal bookended those two games with a loss to Fulham and Swansea. god damn. I said god damn that might have been an all time low. hard to recall how badly that felt, but yesterday/today is a shitty echo of those times.

It's ok, my team is currently 2-7. Arsenal had been the only sporting bright spot this season. Hell, the Cards tanked it too.
At this rate Arsenal will tank their way to 5th this season.

my only solace in all of this is that many signs are pointing towards an Obama victory tomorrow/Tuesday.
**nonpartisan on this issue I sincerely dont give a frick who wins**
but the thing is, being from alabama, all the hundreds of teen mothers and construction workers I went to high school are bleeding heart republicans, and are the ones dominating my facebook TL with "row tahd! sorry im not sorry corndawgs" shite. but post-election they'll be melting down if Obama wins, squirming like fricking worms gutted on a hook to be chummed out, eaten, and shat-out to settle on the ocean floor as a silty biomass forever forgotten from this god damn world. please let this transcendent self-loathing be transferred from my soul to their own. in his name we pray, amen.

Are you trying to get me to commit suicide?

I realize many, if not most, of you will also be existentially torn apart if Obama wins, so sorry for your own wellbeing if that happens.
I just need an opportunity to scroll through my TL sniping each elegiac "I'm moving to Canada / the world is ending / frick Obama"-type of post with a snarky ROLL TIDE!

Holy shite Arsenal still pays Denilson? And damn Podolski.
Posted on 11/4/12 at 5:04 pm to Jumbeauxlaya
Mother of god that is depressing. Our first team wages don't compare favorably to our rivals.

Marouane Chamakh £60,000 £3,120,000
Denilson £60,000 £3,120,000
Nicklas Bendtner £50,000 £2,600,000
Sebastien Squillaci £50,000 £2,600,000
