Do you have a link to exact details? I sensed that the Necro was pretty effective while playing it this afternoon. I was doing a ton of damage with all of my AoE attacks.
It's good that Mesmers have gotten a boost, just because illusions were previously more useless than Ranger pets. Not sure about the Thief - my problems with it were its generic blandness, not its lethality.

Damage and Healing decreased across the board for the most part. So it's a big shift in mechanics.

Agreed. Mesmers needed it. Thieves.... Just take a ton of skill. More than once I was killed in under 5 secs by a thief. Rangers, classically seen as top tier, weren't gutted like Guardians though. Guardians healing took a MAJOR hit, so much so I don't know why they keep the mechanic in.
