I'm a lover of all food so I'm not looking for anything in particular. The only thing I've ever eaten and not cared for was Indian, but it was at a little dumpy place in Colorado so that may have had something to do with it.

I'm sorry my choices weren't "gourmet" enough for you. I'm just going on what I've heard. The only "decent" places I can recall eating in New Orleans were Commanders Palace and Court of Two Sisters (which I've already said sucked). I'm trying to broaden my horizons man! Most of my culinary delights in NOLA have come from vendors off of Bourbon, lol.

Sorry, didn't mean for my most to sound like that.

You have some good tips from several people in this thread, so go with it and look up the websites of the restaurants and see what you like.

I do suggest getting out of the quarter for a meal or two.
