I'm surprised by this.

Just based on the amount of negatives I've read about that drive, I am staying away for now. Just not enough negatives to the Natives to move away yet.

I kinda looked at the CoosaFD before I went with my Slayer 13. The biggest negatives on the Jackson was the steering wasn't designed well from the jump. Also, to service the drive you have to take the whole boat in since the gears and whatnot are housed in the boat. I love their idea and concept but it just doesn't have 10 years of r&d behind it. I'm happy with my boat now but when I look again in a few years I'll check the Jackson out again and see how far they've come along.
