Honestly it is tough for any program to be final four type teams every year... there are over 300 D1 basketball teams rather than the 114 in football.
I think if he is constantly sending teams to the tournament and competing for the SEC title each year he is on that level.

You have to look at landscape of college basketball too
With one and dones, certain programs can live off that and be strong enough to recruit those guys year in/year out like UK, KU, UNC
LSU cannot thrive under the one and done scenario right now and may never be able to attract those players consistently. the good thing is that outside of UK no one else in the SEC can do it either

you dont even mention actually winning any basketball games in the NCAA.
