Agreed. He's got good size and played pretty well last season as basically a rookie. Got plenty of experience, too.

My issue with Davis and Sullinger is that, even if Davis bulks up and plays center, he'll likely be a PF most of this year and into next (if not forever). Sullinger would struggle to get minutes and develop for a good while unless they give up on Ayon.

Not true ... Look at the last 4 teams playing. Sullinger/Davis could easily match-up with Bass/Garnett, Haslem/Bosh, Serge/Perkins, Diaw/Duncan ... It isn't so much about the size of players as it is the fit of them on offense and the ability to play the pick and roll on defense or switch out on players. Lakers aren't playing because neither Gasol or Bynum could really do so. Meaning any guard had their way.

If you take Sullinger and stay at status quo ... you lack a true defender at the 1 but you could easily finish games with a line-up featuring Gordon, Ariza or Aminu (one will be gone most likely), Sully, Davis and the other 1/2 that ends up being on the roster in a year or two.

Exactly, having two talented big man is one thing, having two talented big men that can coexist on offense is another, but having two talented big men that can actually complement each other makes you a title contender.
