as far as i know, the dvr is only available in japan.
eta: with an xbox, you don't even need cable. they just keep adding and adding apps for different channels and what not. they even have fricking facebook and twitter. none of that has anything to do with gaming. that's what sony focus' on. gaming at it's core.

Sony will do whatever it has to do to sell consoles. That will likely mean keeping up with integration apps on the PS3 and beyond, so the argument that they solely focus on gaming is a little fallacious.

The Xbox has invaded the living room and the bedroom. I don't use any of the extra shite on Xbox except for Netflix.
If Sony truly wanted to focus on core gaming they should improve psn.
