Hell's Kitchen/Master Chef Season Long Thread--2012

After ten seasons, you would think these people would come in knowing how to perfectly cook scallops, Beef Wellington, and risotto.

it is amazing the huge egos all these people have coming into the show and Ramsey destroys them. I thought the one guy was gonna have a heart attack. Pretty sure he will not make it far before the stress making him be carried out on a stretcher.

Not to hijack this tread, but also watched Masterchef tonight. I am not sure if the blind lady really has great chances. Most of the competitions are timed and someone will have to help her find the ingredients every time they go running to the pantry. No other contestants will want to take the extra time to help her, I would guess.

It's almost as if they hired a bunch of "aspiring actors" to play the part of chefs on Hell's Kitchen. Not 1 frickin entree' leaves the kitchen?!?!? C'mon! an "executive chef" who mutilates scallops, a guy who looks like he is on his death bed, and it's RAWR!!! it's RAWR !!! my 13 year old knows when something is "rawr" !!!
But, at least it's entertatining.
Master chef is new to me ...saw the first one missed all but the end of the second episode. It's already obvious that when they do a back story, the chef is going to make it thru.
A few thoughts..i admire the blind lady for pursuing her dream but, this seems really dangerous when it comes time to move really fast.
The woman from zimbabwe , how did she get so big !?!?
But, at least it's entertatining.

I said that EXACT same thing about Hell's Kitchen last night. Apparently, they've never watched a SINGLE episode of Ramsey screaming & calling people a "donkey" over scallops. I think this show is becoming more about “drama” and less about real cooking skills. However, you see I’m still watching it, at least for now

wow, no comments on tonights show. Guess no one watched. I knew when they didn't pick Kimmi's steak dish over Robyn's that Robyn would lose and Gordon would bring Kimmi's up and it would be better. So predictable. Next week should be good. I don't like Kimmi, but I really don't like Robyn with her constant scowl on her stupid face.

There is absolutely no way Patrick is a worse chef than Kimmi, Robyn, and the fat blonde. None of those women should be on the show at this point but the producers just want drama. That's what sucks about HK and The Apprentice. Trump and Ramsay aren't only the boss they are also producers. Christina, Dana, and the guy with the bandana are the front runners.

The egg thing in Master Chef was the worst. 
Not that I can cook those eggs perfectly, but I'm sure any reasonable chef could.

Just getting around to the finale. I can't stand when Christina pretends that she is black. And at them thinking the audience believes the Penn and Teller crowd gives a rat's arse who wins when they show them cheering on which chef wins the challenge. Oh and btw, as is HK tradition, it always ends with a tie.
