Anyone ever watched the Triple Crown races at any of the local tracks? I was thinking of going to Evangeline Downs on Saturday to catch some live racing and watch the Belmont.

Watch the derby every year at ED. Usuall a bi crowd an good time. I went for the Preakness one year and it was quiet.
It is suppose to rain this week at Belmont I hope it drys up for Sat. that in my opinion is the biggest obstacle for IHA

If some mudders get entered into the race it won't be good for IHA

I'll be there after the 3rd or 4th.
Got a horse running that night.
Also, me bite, after watching the gallops in the mud, I'm willing to say that mud may not be a problem.
He came out of that race with shins, so I'm going to plug my ears and close my eyes and pretend that he loves the mud.
His pedigree doesn't say he hates it.

From what the HRTV guys say, "Big Sandy" is typically not kind to turf horses and Dullahan is more a turf horse then dirt. I am getting desperate to find excuses why the other horses won't win. I want the damn TC bad.

I want it too!
Dullahan seemed to like it just fine yesterday. Castallano compared him to ghostzapper

Iha hasn't galloped with as much energy the last 2 days and was late swapping leads today. I'm starting to get a little worried that the trail has taken its toll.
Dullahan continued to look good. Wish kent still has the mount bc he'd screw up

Tags has been lolling/working great.
Levee, street life is by far the most gorgeous horse in the race.
Good move in Peter pan, but worried that jones thought the winner wasn't good enough for the Belmont.
