I have a friend who gets about 40 tags.....we follow him and watch as he fills his tags in 2 days...
there are about 6 boats that are just watching as only 2 boats are doing all the work...
We should start charging...
we are in Eagle country too, so we could charge for Eagle tours too

35 bucks a foot skinned, 8ft and up, has been the best price so far this year. the price will probably bump up a bit come september. it always seems to go up about 5 bucks per foot once the gator season gets underway.

i love when the announcer is in the middle of saying 800# gator and they show a guy lift it with 1 hand out the water into the boat....

A wild gator that is seven feet or longer sells for around $12 to $15 a foot. A 10-foot gator at $13 per foot will be purchased for $130. When the price was $40 per foot, that same gator was purchased for $400.

I've seen many 4 footers skinned, salted, and rolled up in a cooler without a tag. Course that was way back when and @ 50 bucks a foot you can see why.

Or a thousand pounder that two women don't have any problem putting in the boat.
