I get aggravated enough when other sites use my FB and attach to it for example: spotify. I don't want everyone knowing exactly what song I'm listening to 24/7. I'd definitely say the same for things like ebay, some people don't want their name out there for all the crap they buy.

I don't think FB will be replaced as quickly as some think, but I don't think it'll go in the direction you're thinking either

I'm with you, I put a high value on privacy on the internet and deactivated my Facebook a long time ago. However, the trend is moving toward more transparency on the internet, whether we like it or not.
