Best: (tie) Foster the People at 930 club or Passion Pit at 930 club.
Worst: New Pornographers at 930 club (just wasn't their night) or Wiz Khalifa and Snoop at 930 club (they were just way way way too high).

Best: The Afghan Whigs, Tipitina's Uptown (NO); Pat Benatar, House of Blues, NO (living legend who lived up to every minute of it)

Worst: The Connells, The Varsity (BR) (just sounded off and the opening band, Tonic, was actually better--big letdown)

Best - Little Feat.

Worst - America. They were so wasted nobody cheered at the end but they played "Horse With No Name" as an encore anyway. In the middle of the song they forgot the lyrics. They just put down their instruments in a daze and walked off.

Best: Hootie and the Blowfish, HOB NOLA around seven years ago. Perfect venue for them and they brought the house down, had the entire place singing. I've seen a lot of different bands, and that one stands out.

Worst: Taylor Swift, bayou country super fest. We weren't there to see her but we stayed. The stare. That's all I need to say.
