Your .270 is adequate for any of the animals you've listed. I've killed each of them and save rare exceptions you will be shooting less than 150 yds
But if your looking for a new gun, here's my list..
.280 nearly the same power as the 7mm Mag with only a fraction of the recoil
.300 WBY/WIN/Short Mags all are good with plenty of power but noticeable recoil
.35 Whelen basically a 30-06 necked up to 35 cal. Shoots well and hits them hard..

300 Win Mag...Ammo is easily found at most stores that carry ammo.Its cheap too.It will kill anything walking on this continent.I have a 300WSM,the only advantage of that gun is the short action if you prefer that.That little booger is bad arse.Its usually bang-flop.
