If we go 20-10 in the SEC, we can lose out in Hoover and still be a top 8??

Depends on how we get there. If we win the final two series then I think so. If we only win the Vandy series, then maybe not.

2-1 against both Vandy and USC would provide a better opportunity for your scenario than a sweep over Vandy and 1-2 against USC, IMO
