There's an option to scale enemies to your level when someone of a higher level joins your game. Maybe that had something to do with it.

I jumped up to level 7. This game is fun as frick. The concept of beating the shite out of zombies with various objects (my favorite being the snow shovel) never gets old. I lol'd when that zombie bitch was trying to get up, and I kicked her right in the arse.

BTW, you would love Borderlands. I don't have it anymore, but I can get my hands on it if you want to run through it after we finish Dead Island.

Is Borderlands similar in style to Dead Island?

I was told that Borderlands is 'meh' solo but awesome coop. I love Dead Island and I've played primarily solo save Saturday night I played about 3 hours with KK. Coop is obviously more fun but the solo is great too IMO.

Just wondering if Borderlands is indeed worth getting to play mainly solo.
