This appeals to me alot (especially reserved seating).
Me too. I've eaten at a table reserved in the bar more than in the main part of the restaurant, lately. I like the casual feel and watching them grill the oysters. It's what I call "easy fine dining".
I've never gotten a fish dish there that was even close to being bad. I've found the quality to be very good. The cedar roasted red fish is their specialty and it's always been fresh tasting to me and I will not eat fish if I remotely detect anything funky. If Mansur's was putting out such a product, we'd have heard about it here, for sure.
I'm not saying the food it out of this world, but it's very good and always solid. The menu isn't huge, but there are usually specials and I've always been offered the "visiting fresh fish".
Give it a try.
