And by no means am I using that to prop up Jeter as being on the level of/better than the old timers. Its just a point. You can't knock DJ for his lack of power.

Jeter's top 5 in BA in Yankee history (#5), but he's not top 10 in either OBP or SLG. He's #1 in at bats by nearly 2000, yet he ranks 4th in total bases. He's not in the top ten in OPS+ in team history. He's an all-time great, but he's nowhere near Mantle, much less Ruth.
