And that shamefully leaves off Gehrig and Yogi. Wow. Loaded history. Jeter is certainly the symbol of this current Yankee dynasty. Mo is the best pitcher they've ever had, which is odd for a team that's won so much*
*I know that Clemens is better, but I'm only counting as a Yankee.

Yes, it is a loaded history since we're not even considering guys like Alex Rodriguez and Rickey Henderson who are likely to be among the games all-time greats in offensive statistics. But they put up huge numbers while they were playing for other teams.
