...same reason you don't hear Buddy Holly, the Big Bopper, Ritchie Valens, Chuck Berry, Dion & the Belmonts, Fats Dominoe, Little Richard, Eddie Cochran, etc on classic rock stations. Elvis was the King of the predecessors to Classic Rock.

Because his fanbase is slowly dying. Which is sad. I love 50s rock. But old people are not a valued market, so their tastes aren't reflecting on the radio. Remember big band stations? Same reason they don't exist anymore. Eventually, all but a handful of 1950s songs will disappear from the radio.
