Might not be rock enough. Most of his stuff was either country or gospel. Classic rock stations don't seem to play anything before the late 60s.

The Beatles broke up in 70. Elvis "died" in 77.

I'm surprised eagle 98.1 doesn't play Elvis as they do play all kinds of old folky bull shite.
