re: Little help around lake Chuck

This is a South Central Shrine Association convention...meetings, a little drinking, motor corps autocrosses, a little more drinking, clown competition, band competition and a little more drinking all followed up with a large shriner's parade on saturday. We will be hosting in 2013 in Baton Rouge so we get to serve the thursday evening meal. I am looking to stop anywhere along the Baton Rouge to Lake Chuck route and pick things up. We will have use of the Habibi Shrine center's kitchen and ball room but I just want to heat things up...Many shriner's from oklahoma, Arkansas etc so we will try and give them a Taste of Louisiana.
