Maybe. But some of the fly balls would've been out of the park or over the OF heads or in the gap when they're now able to be cut off.. Also, every ball hit on the ground in the IF would've been much hotter to handle.

A guy who puts the bat on the ball almost every time could not have helped but to benefit from the old trampoline bats.
