But we got such a hard regional!!!
ok, fella, look at it this way, in terms of RPI....

In these projections, look at who each national seed has to compete with for a spot in Omaha (RPI numbers)....

(1) F$U (RPI #1) -- Ark (12) and UCF (20).

(2) Baylor (RPI #3) -- Stan (8) and Gonzaga (30)

(3) Purdue (RPI #5) -- Florida (2) and Miami (19)

(4) UK (RPI #10) -- NCSU (15) and App State (24)

(5) LSU (RPI #7) -- UCLA (4) and Arizona (18)

(6) S.Carolina (RPI #9) -- UNC (6) and ECU (22)

(7) Rice (RPI #11) -- UVA (14) and A&M (17)

(8) Oregon (RPI #16) -- CSUF (13) and NMSU (21)

So, besides Purdue, LSU would have the highest combined RPIs to deal with if looking at the top 2 in each Supers pairings.

I doubt these pairings wind up looking much like the actuals.

Well I was talking specifically about the regional. Arizona is a good team, no doubt. But I have the utmost confidence that we would beat Oklahoma and Southeastern even on the road more times than not.

Getting Arizona to close out the regional at home and then payback for UCLA is just how the cookie crumbles IMO.

You gotta play your way through your regional (and that #2 seed will most of the time be ranked). Then you play a Top 16 team at home for the super.

It's tough but somebody's gotta do it.
